160 Hour CDL A Course
Our 160-hour (3-1/2 weeks) CDL A program is designed for students to learn and exercise the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) skills of operating as an over-the-road, regional, dedicated or local driver.
A Pre-Trip & In-Cab inspection is not only necessary to pass your CDL A Exam, but it's essential for learning the basics of your rig and recognizing if and when there's an issue to be addressed. Believe it or not, this is one of the most difficult portions for most CDL A students. We work closely with our students to ease the stress and perfect the Pre-Trip & In-Cab.

Shifting while traveling local roads, city streets and nearby highways, right and left-hand turns, merging, proper space management and safety techniques are all part of our curriculum during road training. We teach our students to drive a Manual transmission truck, so you won't have a restricted license after you graduate. Only knowing how to drive Automatic transmissions restricts you from endless job opportunities.
